Claires...matt nail polish....bwaaaaah!

Today, after school, I went shopping. Wanted to buy something nice for my mum (ended up with a necklace and a small makeup bag from H&M) and went to Claires to find a nice shade of nailpolish. Didn't find anything for her, but I found something else. At first I though,. ehmm weird bottle. But then I looked closer....


1. matt matt matt matt matt bwaaah! yes I am happy, 'cause I was thinking about buying the China Glaze matt topcoat but...
2. this one is so much cheaper! Bought it for €2.50, ordering the China Glaze one would've cost me about €11 here. I'm actually thinking about buying a back up of the top coat tomorrow. Also bought the grey one, which i like a lot as well.

I might post some swatches soon, first I need to experiment a bit with these polishes!

Need some help!

So I'm going to buy two China Glaze polishes. I want the Magic Matte, but I don't know if it's good or bad, and a second colour. But there are so many colours! So, any colour you can recommend? And is the China Glaze Magic Matte worth buying?

Just did my nails, some pink and purple nailpolish and some Konad! Hope it'll last...probably not :(

Show your feet! (or your hands)

So today, in between all the studying I had to do (last exam tomorrow, hurray!) I picked some nail polishes from my mum's collection, found two Essence Show Your Feet polishes there! I have some myself too and I like them because most of them cover really well. I found #01 carribean sea (light/middle blue) and #03 purple magic (purple..yes!). Decided to do some swatches on my nails 'cause these colours looked so good, especially together! This is what they looked like;

I like the purple one! Not too much of a fan of the blue one, simply because my nails are quite yellow now :( I though: "oh well it's just for a picture, I don't need to apply a basecoat, I'll remove it soon enough".. well they still became yellow! Fortunately my nails are almost back to their own colour now but I wonder if a basecoat would've changed that much to what happened. But neither do I like blue in general,..it's just a bit too much for me I guess. Do you like wearing blue?

Oh wow sorry for the lack of posts! I just started this blog and I'm already neglecting it! But i have a goooood reason; exams! Got one today and three more in the next two weeks :( I'm really afraid for the one I have today, it's so hard! Really hope I'll do fine. Today I'm wearing essence's very berry nailpolish which is a very nice dark pink polish! I was thinking I could use some happy colours to make the exam less painful! :p

I needed some make up

So I went shopping today (well bought this all in like half an hour lol).

HEMA - eyeshadow base
H&M - eyeshadows (white, light-grey, middle-grey, black)
H&M - brush for the eyeshadows
CATRICE - liquid eye liner black
ETOS - mousse foundation and compact powder (still need a brush)
H&M - concealer


ESSENCE - nail polish remover-nail hardening (and oh it smells so yuk so I hope it's just good)
ESSENCE french glam - 01 white glam (for konad)
SALLY HANSEN - strengthening base & top coat
ESSENCE colour&go - 21 fabuless (for konad too)


HEMA - two shampoos


Going to test all these things, I applied some sally hansen nailpolish on top of my current red nails, dries fast so I like that! I really hope it'll prevent the chipping a bit, I have really soft nails and that always ruins my nailpolish.
